ReadableBuffer

Region of native memory that can be read.

Some instances, such as ones obtained while reading a row or a function argument, are only valid for as long as the resource they came from is. Reading from one after that resource was released throws IllegalStateException.

Reads size bytes from the native memory block into destination.

Reads size bytes from the native memory block, starting at offset, and returns them as a new ByteArray.

readBytes

fun ReadableBuffer.readBytes(): ByteArray

Reads this whole buffer and returns it as a new ByteArray, up to Int.MAX_VALUE bytes.

readBytesOrThrow

fun ReadableBuffer.readBytesOrThrow(): ByteArray

Reads this whole buffer and returns it as a new ByteArray.
